The Bostonian is a 121-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility operating under the Gordon Healthcare Management Group. The Pope's Hill Unit provides short-term nursing and rehabilitation care; the Ashmont Unit provides short- and long-term care for patients will chronic illness and skilled nursing needs; and the Neponset Unit is a “neighborhood” to our elders.
The Bostonian is JCAHO accredited, and Eden Certified.
We accept private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and managed care health plans, such as Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Tufts, and long-term care insurances.
We specialize in total hip and total knee replacement rehabilitation and also expertly treat patients with other medically complex conditions.
The Bostonian is proud to be active in our surrounding community as a member of the Pope's Hill Neighborhood Association and supporter of Dorchester Eagles Pop Warner football and cheerleading and St. Ann's CYO basketball program.
Our facility is spacious and bright, with an elegant dining room and an abundance of plants and fish living among us.
